Therapist

-- Therapist --

We have open positions for all locations.

The Mary Welsh Foundation is a not-for-profit that was established to provide therapeutic services and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults who had experienced significant abuse and trauma. Recently, our organization has branched out to also provide services to our community of "wise-ones" and we provide therapy to our senior population.

We are PERSON-CENTERED in our approach and our focus is to help individuals heal, integrate, and become aware of their wounds so we can reduce mental anguish and suffering. Change is not easy for any human, but we do not have to handle it alone or in ways that are now unhelpful for our current stage of life.

We are currently seeking professional, ethical, and committed therapist to join our team. It is hard enough to be a therapist, and we are looking for someone that is compassionate, considerate, responsible and is in the field to help heal others. We can only take people as far as we have gone. This is contract work, and you make your own hours, schedule, and the number of clients that you wish to have on your caseload. The staff here is supportive and we do offer free State Supervision to Registered Interns in Mental Health Counseling. As well as clinical development in the areas of individuals/Couples/Families and a variety of mental health issues. At this time, we cannot provide state supervision for registered interns in social work. We are an Outpatient Counseling Center.
